Kapil Sharma's 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' Gets 2026 Re-Release with New Trailer
Kapil Sharma's comedy sequel to re-release in Jan 2026

In a surprising move, the makers of the comedy sequel 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' have decided to give the film a second chance on the big screen. The Kapil Sharma-starrer, which initially faced a tough box office battle, is now slated for a re-release in early 2026, accompanied by a brand-new trailer.

A Second Shot at Theatrical Success

The film originally hit cinemas on December 12, locking horns with Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' just a week after its release. This clash significantly impacted its opening performance. Now, the production team is aiming for a fresh start, scheduling the movie's return for January 9, 2026.

To build excitement, the team has launched 'Trailer 2.0', which plunges viewers directly into the heart of the comedic chaos. Kapil Sharma is showcased in a triple role, portraying characters named Mohan, Michel, and Mehmood. The preview promises a frenzy of mistaken identities, quick-fire plot twists, and side-splitting moments, all centered around the perilous task of managing four simultaneous marriages.

Plot Centered on Marital Mayhem

The story follows Mohan, a man deeply in love with Sania. Faced with religious differences that prevent their union, he concocts an audacious and wildly complicated scheme. Mohan decides to marry three different women—Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny—each from a different religious background.

What unfolds is a hilarious tapestry of lies and mounting confusion. As Mohan desperately tries to keep his four separate lives from crashing into one another, he finds himself spiraling into ever more absurd and disastrous situations, providing the core of the film's humour.

Makers Bet on New Year Cheer

Speaking about the decision to re-release the film, producer Ratan Jain revealed that audience feedback was a major driving force. In a conversation with OTTplay, Jain expressed confidence in the film's family-friendly appeal, stating that the New Year period is the perfect time to bring back a celebration of joy and laughter.

"We’re delighted to return with a film that celebrates joy, laughter, and wholesome family entertainment," Jain shared, highlighting their belief in the project's potential to draw crowds seeking a fun cinematic experience.

The film features an ensemble cast including Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan alongside Kapil Sharma. With its re-release date set, 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' is positioning itself as a prime choice for a family outing filled with laughter at the start of 2026.
