According to a report by India Today, when Aamir Khan first introduced Gauri Spratt to the media in 2025, he was candid about his stance. He said, "See, we are fully committed. And I have been married twice. But now, at 60 years of age, getting married probably wouldn't suit me. However, let's see." It appears that the "let's see" has now been answered. The report confirms that the couple recently decided to formalize their relationship. They are both in a secure place and wanted to celebrate their bond. Preparations for the wedding have already begun, with the event expected to be intimate, attended only by family and close friends.

In an interview with Navbharat Times, Aamir Khan spoke openly about what Gauri means to him. He said, "I am very fortunate that I met Gauri and our relationship started together. She is great; I feel at peace with her." He also reflected on his past marriages without bitterness, adding, "Although my relationships with ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta were also very deep, things didn't work out. When you asked, I felt that I was very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. I feel that only now have I become complete."
