Actor Akansha Ranjan, who was last seen in the television series Gram Chikitsalaya, is preparing to marry filmmaker Sharan Sharma, best known for directing the biographical film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. According to sources close to the couple, the wedding is planned for July this year.

When approached for confirmation, Akansha did not respond to messages. However, in a previous interaction with Bombay Times in 2024, she had openly acknowledged her relationship with Sharan while maintaining a reserved stance about her personal life. She stated, “Yes, I am in a relationship with Sharan. While I have not hidden the fact that I am dating him, I don’t like to discuss my personal life too much.” The couple is believed to have started dating in late 2022.

Recently, Akansha opened up about her experience with egg freezing. In a podcast, she shared the physical challenges she faced during the procedure. She said, “Physically, I was in a lot of pain, which I don’t think happens to everybody, but I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t stand straight because it just felt like there was a big balloon inside me, and my doctor was like maybe because you’re just really small. So, I couldn’t stand straight, and I used to go to my sister’s house. So, I live in the B wing, and she lives in the A wing. So, I would walk to her house for her to inject me, and for 2 or 3 days, I couldn’t even walk as I was in so much pain. I couldn’t stand it.”
