Akshay Kumar Reveals Farah Khan Wanted to 'Shoot' Katrina Kaif on Set
Akshay Kumar Reveals Farah Khan's Gun Threat to Katrina Kaif

Akshay Kumar's 'Bhooth Bangla' has now arrived on OTT platforms. During its digital release promotions, a lively conversation unfolded between Farah Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan, and Rajpal Yadav, delighting fans. The exchange began when Farah asked Priyadarshan if he ever loses his temper while directing. The filmmaker replied, 'I don't. Mostly because I don't like noise on my set.'

Akshay quickly pointed out that Farah's directing style is quite different. 'You get angry on set,' he remarked. As he tried to elaborate, he suddenly stopped, prompting Farah to jokingly ask, 'Were you going to say worst?' Laughing, Akshay clarified, 'No, I mean… you aren't even aware of what you're saying yourself.'

Farah firmly disagreed, stating, 'I always know what I say.' That was when Akshay shared an amusing memory involving Katrina Kaif. 'You were mad at Katrina once. You actually said, Where is my gun?' he recalled. Unable to contain his laughter, he added, 'Who says, Where is my gun? She never had a gun! She wanted to shoot Katrina.'

The anecdote sent everyone into fits of laughter. Joining in, Priyadarshan quipped, 'My set is always quiet. The only thing you hear is Farah's voice.'

Farah defended herself by highlighting her speed as a filmmaker. 'But sir, you also have to see how fast I shoot,' she said. Both Akshay and Priyadarshan agreed, praising her efficiency behind the camera.

Although they did not specify which project the incident took place on, Farah and Katrina have collaborated on several popular songs, including 'Sheila Ki Jawani' from 'Tees Maar Khan' and 'Tip Tip' from 'Sooryavanshi'.

Interestingly, 'Tees Maar Khan' remains one of Farah's most debated films. While the movie faced heavy criticism upon its release, the filmmaker has repeatedly spoken about how the negative response took an emotional toll on her.
