In a heartwarming gesture, popular actor and television personality Archana Puran Singh recently included a special guest on her family trip to Bengaluru: her house-help, Bhagyashree. The journey, which took place in early December 2025, marked Bhagyashree's very first experience of air travel, leading to a series of memorable and emotional moments that were documented for fans.
A Journey Filled with Laughter and Shenanigans
The adventure began with a minor hiccup early in the morning of December 5, 2025, when the family discovered that an excited yet nervous Bhagyashree had overslept. After a rushed departure, the group, which included Archana's son Aaryamann Sethi, made their way to the airport. The pre-flight moments were filled with lighthearted fun at the food court, where playful comparisons were drawn between Aaryamann and Kajol from the iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and even Shah Rukh Khan to a slice of pizza.
Once onboard the aircraft, Bhagyashree's first-time flier nerves were evident. Archana, seated nearby, asked a fellow passenger to assist Bhagyashree with her seatbelt, to which she promptly and proudly replied, "I have already fastened it." This moment highlighted her mix of anxiety and determination to navigate the new experience independently.
The 'Walking on Clouds' Experience and Hotel Pranks
Upon safely landing in Bengaluru, the playful family dynamic continued. Archana and Aaryamann decided to play a prank on Bhagyashree, telling her that her luggage had gone missing. The innocent house-help's face instantly filled with fear, only to be met with relieved laughter when the joke was revealed. When Archana asked Bhagyashree to describe her maiden flight, her poetic response captured the essence of the experience perfectly.
"When it took off, I was holding on the sides and people around me were looking at me. But I felt relaxed once we were in the air. Esa lag raha tha ki baadlon par chal rahe hai (It felt like we were walking in clouds)," Bhagyashree shared, beautifully articulating the wonder of flight.
The luxury experience continued as the family travelled to their hotel in a high-end Mercedes, with Aaryamann enthusiastically pointing out its features. Archana fondly compared her son to "a little kid in a candy store," a sentiment he happily agreed with. After checking into their 5-star hotel, Archana explained the absence of her other son, Ayushmaan, revealing he had stayed back for a positive reason: he had just secured his first acting assignment.
Celebrating with Local Bengaluru Delicacies
No trip to a new city is complete without indulging in the local cuisine, and the family made sure to savor the flavors of Karnataka. Their culinary exploration included traditional treats like Mosaru Kodubale, Maddur Vada, and Avarebele Dosa before calling it a night. The entire journey underscored a beautiful blend of employer-employee bonding, family humor, and the simple joy of introducing someone to a life-changing first experience.
This trip, more than just a vacation, became a testament to shared experiences and breaking barriers, all while enjoying the best of what Bengaluru had to offer.
