Chaotic Delhi Food Adventure Turns Ugly for Archana Puran Singh's Family
Popular television personality Archana Puran Singh, along with her husband Parmeet Sethi and their son Aaryamann Sethi, recently experienced the darker side of fame during their food exploration trip in Delhi. The family, known for their entertaining YouTube vlogs documenting culinary experiences, found themselves in an unexpected situation when their casual outing turned into a mob-like scenario.
The Unfortunate Incident at Kamla Nagar
What began as a light-hearted family expedition to sample Delhi's famous chaat at three different locations - Kamla Nagar, Bengali Market, and Greater Kailash - quickly escalated into an uncomfortable situation. The family had been confidently navigating through Delhi's bustling traffic and enthusiastic fans when they decided to send Aaryamann out of the car to gather some information, joking that "Tujhe toh vaise bhi koi pehchanta nahi hai" (Anyway no one recognizes you).
However, the reality proved quite different when both Archana and Parmeet made their way toward a restaurant in Kamla Nagar. Contrary to their expectations, it was Aaryamann who found himself surrounded by overzealous fans. The situation turned physical as people began pushing and slapping the young man while trying to get pictures with his famous parents.
Aaryamann's Shocking Revelation
Back in the safety of their car, Aaryamann shared his distressing experience with his parents. "People really love mom and dad and they speak very gently with her. But the way they have slapped and pushed me around today... On my shoes, they pushed me and said, 'Get us a picture'. I said, 'Now I won't get it for you'. What is this? I was pushed around so much," he revealed emotionally.
The young vlogger expressed his frustration at the stark contrast in treatment between his parents and himself. While fans approached Archana and Parmeet with respect and gentle requests, he faced physical aggression and demands for photographs.
Continued Recognition and Amusing Moments
The family's food journey continued to other locations, where Aaryamann received unexpected recognition. At their second restaurant stop, the shop owner instantly recognized him, and soon other fans surrounded him for selfies. Archana humorously questioned whether her son had paid people to take pictures with him.
Adding to the amusing moments, one fan mistakenly addressed Aaryamann as "Ayushmaan" and wondered why the family's son wasn't with them that day, causing the family to share a light-hearted laugh amid the chaos.
The incident highlights the challenges faced by celebrity families in public spaces, especially when fans become overenthusiastic. The Sethi family's YouTube channel recently crossed the significant milestone of one million subscribers, while Aaryamann's personal channel, Aary Vlogs, has attracted over 207,000 subscribers, indicating their growing popularity in the digital space.
