The late Hulk Hogan's latest docuseries, 'Hulk Hogan: The Real American,' delves into various aspects of the legendary wrestler's life, including his career and family. However, many fans have questioned why his only daughter, Brooke Hogan, was not featured in the documentary. In a recent interview, Brooke addressed her exclusion and shared her criticisms of the series.
Brooke Hogan Speaks Out
Speaking on 'The Bubba the Love Sponge Show' podcast, Brooke revealed that while the docuseries captured every moment of her father's career, it omitted about 98% of critical real-life factual information. She described the series as 'glossed over' and felt as though she was 'living in an alternate universe' regarding how events were portrayed.
Issues with the Narrative
Brooke expressed concern that the series framed her father's struggles with drugs and steroids as if they were new revelations, despite these issues being well-known to the public for years. She believed the narrative was significantly altered to fit a particular storyline.
The docuseries also included Hogan's final interview before his passing at age 71. It had been widely reported that Brooke and her father were estranged, and she was not included in his will, leaving his son Nick as the sole heir.
Brooke's candid remarks highlight the disconnect between the documentary's portrayal and her personal experience, adding a new layer to the legacy of the iconic wrestler.
