Claudia Fogarty Rushes Baby to Urgent Care Over Breathing

Claudia Fogarty, who gained fame after appearing on series nine of 'Love Island', has revealed that she rushed her seven-month-old daughter Delilah to urgent care after becoming concerned about her breathing. The 31-year-old spent three hours in the accident and emergency department with her baby girl before receiving the all-clear from medical staff, who suggested the issue may have been croup. For any new parent, the experience of not knowing whether something is seriously wrong with their child is deeply unsettling, and Claudia was no different.

Claudia Shares Her Experience on Social Media

The reality star took to social media to share details of the ordeal with her followers, posting a black-and-white photo of Delilah sleeping on her in the waiting room. The image quickly resonated with fans and fellow parents, many of whom could relate to the anxiety of navigating an unexpected health scare with a young baby. Writing over the snap, Claudia told fans, 'We've had a poorly baba this past couple days. It's scary being a parent and knowing what the right thing to do is and when you should go and check them out.'

A Unique Analogy for a Scary Moment

She went on to describe Delilah's breathing in a way that only a sleep-deprived, worried new mother could, comparing the sounds to the broken penguin from 'Toy Story'. Fans absolutely loved her for the humorous yet relatable analogy. 'We decided to take her to urgent care where we sat for three hours to be told she's fine, maybe just croup,' she wrote. Claudia was candid about the fact that deep down she sensed her daughter was going to be alright, but the noises were simply too unsettling to ignore. 'I knew she was fine but I just wanted to be reassured as the noises she was making when she was breathing scared me,' she added.

Sharing the news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo of her newborn, Claudia wrote that their little bundle of joy came into the world six weeks early, describing Delilah as one strong little girl who completed their whole life. Ollie, who has been dating Claudia since September 2023, commented on the post saying the experience had changed his life and that Claudia would be the best mum.
