Nagpur: Vishwa Samvad Kendra (Vidarbha) organized the Devarshi Narad Jayanti Journalist Felicitation Ceremony on Saturday at 5:30 PM onwards at the Vanamati Auditorium in Civil Lines. The event celebrated the birth anniversary of Devarshi Narad, whom the organization considers the first journalist.
Chief Guests and Awardees
The chief guests for the program were Padma Shri awardee and Member of Parliament Ujjwal Nikam, along with Sunil Sathe of Pragya Pravah. Journalists from newspapers, television, photography, column writing, radio news presenting, digital portals, monthly magazines, and meritorious students of journalism courses were felicitated for their contributions to the field.
List of Awardees
This year's awardees include Nikhil Bhute, Divyesh Dwivedi, and Sanjay Lachuria. Others honored are Nikita Gawande, Shankhnaad, Jeevan Vikas, Hemangi Kulkarni, Vaishnavi Thakre, and Ved Ghulghule.
