Four months after the news broke that the 'Grey's Anatomy' star Eric Dane had passed away due to ALS, his daughter Georgia Geraldine Dane graduated from middle school. Taking to social media, the actor's partner, Rebecca Gayheart, shared a congratulatory post announcing the milestone while also remembering the 'Euphoria' actor.

Recently, Gayheart took to her social media accounts to share a post about Georgia successfully completing middle school despite an extremely difficult year. She posted a photo of her daughter on stage, accepting a sunflower from a school official to mark her graduation, highlighting that Georgia had an 'incredibly difficult year' yet managed to persevere.
The caption read: 'Congratulations, Georgia! You have graduated middle school and survived an incredibly difficult year. I am so beyond proud of you—your tenacity, grit, and grace has been on full display. Welcome to high school—I have no doubt you're ready. I am so excited for you! About Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart
The couple married in 2004 and welcomed their eldest daughter, Billie, in 2010. A year later, Georgia was born. Throughout the years, they went through many rough patches, and around 2014, they filed for divorce. However, the filing never came to fruition, and Gayheart had the plea dismissed last year. Eric Dane passed away in February this year after a battle with ALS, with which he had been diagnosed some time ago.
