Gaurav Gera Hilariously Points Out Flaw in Burning Train Scene

The 1980 film 'The Burning Train' featured an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Hema Malini, and Parveen Babi. While the film is remembered over the years, it did not fare well at the box office. Now, decades later, actor and comedian Gaurav Gera has revisited one of its most memorable scenes with a hilarious twist.

In the clip shared by Gaurav, he focuses on a dramatic moment where passengers attempt to warn authorities about the out-of-control burning train using a red cloth as a distress signal. In the original sequence, Asha Sachdev's character offers her red saree after Dharmendra's character urgently asks if anyone has something red to wave as a warning.

Gaurav injects humour by repeatedly pointing out an obvious alternative—a child in the same scene wearing a red sweater. Throughout the clip, he keeps insisting, “Arre bacche ne laal kapda pehna hai. (The kid is wearing a red-coloured outfit).” Despite his logical and hilarious observation, the scene proceeds as originally intended, with the saree being used instead. Gaurav's bewildered reactions to this choice become the highlight of the video.

The red cloth, in the context of the scene, was meant to grab attention and signal danger to those outside the train. Yet, Gaurav's comic frustration lies in the fact that no one considers simply using the child's already-red clothing—something he finds both amusing and baffling. He hilariously stated how the makers could have used the child's sweater, but instead, they had to make an actress strip her saree, making it more dramatic.

The video quickly struck a chord with netizens who couldn't stop laughing. One user joked, “Sabko nahi aati peak detailing.” Another quipped, “80s ki peak detailing.” Others chimed in with playful remarks like “The turning brain” and “The burning brain,” while one comment summed it up as “Peak detailing by Gaurav Gera.”

At the moment, Gaurav is receiving a lot of love for his portrayal of Aalam Bhai in the 'Dhurandhar' franchise. His scenes and camaraderie with Ranveer Singh have won hearts.
