Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's Favorite Cheat Meal
In the video interview, when asked about his favorite food, Sooryavanshi said, 'I eat everything. I eat all home-cooked food.' He further added, 'And for my cheat meal, I really love ice cream.'
What Is Ice Cream?
Ice cream is a popular frozen dessert made from milk, cream, sugar, and flavorings. The mixture is churned while freezing, which incorporates air and creates its smooth, creamy texture. Ice cream may also contain ingredients such as fruits, nuts, chocolate chips, cookies, or caramel. It is a summer favorite dessert and can also be enjoyed during winters. It comes in many forms including cones, cups, bars, sandwiches, and sundaes.
What a Study Says About Ice Cream
According to a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine by researchers from Harvard University, men who ate ice cream regularly had a lower risk of type 2 diabetes. This 2005 study stands out by reporting a surprising inverse association between ice cream consumption and type 2 diabetes risk—an observation that runs counter to most nutrition recommendations and has prompted considerable debate in the research community. Related studies generally find that dairy intake—especially fermented products like yogurt—may lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. High-fat milk and cheese also show protective associations in some cohorts.
