Salman Khan Blackbuck Case Film 'Kala Hiran' Faces Legal Notice, Producer Claims Death Threats
Kala Hiran Film Faces Legal Notice, Producer Claims Threats

The upcoming film 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy', which draws from the blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has encountered fresh legal trouble. Shortly after the film's announcement, Salman Khan's legal team reportedly issued a notice demanding that the makers cease production and promotion of the movie. In response, producer Amit Jani publicly tore up the notice and alleged that he has been receiving numerous death threats from Khan's fans online.

Producer Amit Jani Claims 1,000 Death Threat Messages in 36 Hours

Amit Jani shared a video of himself tearing up the notice, claiming that he has been inundated with threats from supporters of Salman Khan. He stated, 'People keep asking me, the media, friends, what response should be given to the notice from Salman Khan. This notice, what should I reply to it? For the past 36 hours, all his fans from Dharavi to Jogeshwari have sent 1,000 messages, including death threats, saying they'll cut my head off if I come to Mumbai. So whom should I answer? Should I respond to the thousands of abuses delivered through Salman Khan's toolkit, to those threats, or should I answer this notice? This is my reply to that notice.' He concluded by saying, 'Now your threats have arrived, those from the people who gave you your toolkit: your rude fans, the street thugs raised in Dharavi, or the so-called fans living in Dongri and Jogeshwari, and the kind of messages we're getting from D company saying they'll finish off your family. You've got the reply to that notice. Now we will deal with D company.'

'Kala Hiran' Based on Salman Khan's Blackbuck Poaching Case

The film 'Kala Hiran' garnered significant attention last month following the release of its first poster. The movie is inspired by the blackbuck poaching case in which Salman Khan was implicated. Shortly after the film's announcement, Salman Khan reportedly sent a legal notice to the producers, instructing them to stop the film's production and promotion. The notice argues that the film infringes upon his personal rights and notes that the blackbuck case is still pending before the Rajasthan High Court. The film is described as a blend of courtroom drama and crime thriller, and it is also set to depict the well-known rivalry between Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on screen.
