Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Picnic in Santa Barbara

Singer Katy Perry and her beau, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, were spotted enjoying a rather cozy picnic date. The star couple, who had no qualms about displaying public affection during their latest appearance at the FIFA World Cup opening, were seen having a relaxed day out together at a park in Santa Barbara.

PDA-Filled Outing

According to photos from the outing, Perry and Trudeau spent the afternoon lounging on a blanket, where they were seen sharing kisses and embracing each other. The singer was seen living her 'Teenage Dream' as she lay alongside Trudeau on the blanket and wrapped an arm around him, before the pair reached in for a kiss.

For the day out, Katy was seen in a white tee and cotton pants, while Justin kept it casual in a green tee and shorts. The couple, who had been holding back on public displays of affection, were seen casually strolling in the park, stopping every now and then for a kiss.

Family Time

The couple was joined by Perry's five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with former partner Orlando Bloom. Another young boy was also present during the outing. Perry and Trudeau appeared at ease as they watched the children play nearby. While the singer was seen checking up on the kids, Justin was seen lounging on the mat. Later in the day, the group gathered for a meal together before driving off in a vintage Jeep-style vehicle, with Perry taking the wheel.

Recent Red Carpet Debut

The outing comes shortly after Perry and Trudeau made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of Perry's concert film, 'Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris', during the Tribeca Film Festival.

New Single Tease

The spotting also comes hours after Perry teased a new single 'Watch It Burn' on the upcoming 'Unfamous' podcast episode out this Wednesday. She said, 'In 'Watch it burn' I am wrestling with my darkness. Last year was pretty tough. I have not given myself permission to be angry my whole life, over things I should be f*****g angry about. What I've done, is I've pushed it down, but I should be f*****g angry.' The single will be out on June 26.
