Ken Harwood, who appeared on the popular reality television show Gogglebox alongside his wife Anne for approximately five seasons, has died. The reality TV star was 77 years old at the time of his passing last week.

The news was confirmed by the studio that produces the television show. During their latest episode on May 15, the program paid their respects to Harwood and included a tribute card in his honor. Alongside a well-known photograph of him and Anne, the tribute read: "In loving memory of Ken Harwood 1948 - 2026," and the episode was dedicated to him.
According to the studio's confirmation, Harwood, who was from Consett, County Durham, passed away last week at the age of 77 after battling an illness.
"He will be dearly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram, and all who knew him," read the statement released after his death. Harwood worked as a postmaster for three decades and later served as a local councillor. He officially retired in 2013.
