Lisa Hochstein Eavesdropping Charges Dropped Without Guilty Plea
Lisa Hochstein Charges Dropped Without Guilty Plea

The unauthorized eavesdropping case involving 'Real Housewives of Miami' star Lisa Hochstein and her ex-husband Leonard 'Lenny' Hochstein has taken a surprising turn amid their ongoing legal proceedings. The reality TV personality faced criminal charges of intercepting wire, oral, or electronic communications, alongside her ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden. However, the duo will have their charges dismissed by mid-June without any admission of guilt or conviction.

Legal Proceedings Between the Hochsteins and Jody Glidden

Defense attorneys Jayne Weintraub and Howard Srebnick confirmed that Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden will be free of all charges without any admission of guilt or conviction, according to USA Today. The pair were arrested on one felony charge each in April after allegedly placing a recording device in a car during the Hochsteins' divorce proceedings in 2023. While Glidden was released after posting a $5,000 bond and later entering a not-guilty plea, Lisa surrendered to officials on April 15, followed by release after a $5,000 bond and a not-guilty plea.

About the Filed Case on Non-Consensual Recording

In March 2023, a warrant was filed after Lisa borrowed a brand-new, expensive car from Lenny, allegedly wanting to buy the same model for herself, according to People. However, after returning his car, Lenny found a suspicious device in the driver's seat floorboard, later identified as a recorder. “It was covered in tape, which, upon learning the nature of the device, the victim suspected was used to secure it under the seat and out of view,” the warrant stated.

One of the last recordings found on the device captured a discussion between Hochstein and Glidden, along with a distinct sound as the hidden recorder was being wrestled into place. Moreover, the device later recorded the former couple speaking about children, plastic surgery, finances, and a construction project. Lenny informed authorities that he had confronted Lisa about the device and that he did not consent to being recorded.
