Madison Beer turned the City of Light into her own little love letter on Friday night. During her Locket Tour show at Adidas Arena in Paris, with boyfriend Justin Herbert right there in the city, the 27-year-old pop star paused mid-setlist to make things personal. While performing 'Baby', Beer swapped the original lyrics to sing: "I'm the best you ever had, Justin, I can turn you on." The arena, unsurprisingly, erupted.
An Unscripted Moment
It was one of those small, unscripted concert moments that sends the internet into a spiral, and honestly, rightfully so. Beer and Herbert have been doing the whole loved-up-in-Europe thing this week. The couple was photographed strolling through Paris together two days prior, looking every bit the rom-com couple fans have collectively decided they are. Herbert, who has been accompanying Beer through the European leg of her tour, was in the building, making the dedication land even harder for the crowd.
The moment felt quintessentially Madison Beer: emotionally direct, a little theatrical, and completely on-brand for someone who just dropped a deluxe album full of songs about being disgustingly in love. 'Baby' sits at number 18 on the Locket Tour setlist, and Beer has been performing it at every show since the tour kicked off in Krakow, Poland, on May 11. But Paris, apparently, called for something extra.
Justin Herbert: From Private to Public
For context, this is a man who avoids cameras like it is a second career. Herbert, the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, has a well-documented reputation for being almost aggressively private, which makes his behavior since meeting Beer all the more remarkable. He has crashed a music video, gone Instagram official, sat courtside at Lakers games, attended the pre-Grammys gala, and is now apparently the subject of live lyric dedications in front of thousands of screaming fans in Paris.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in August 2025 when Herbert visited Beer on a music video shoot in Los Angeles. They went public with a sideline kiss at a Chargers vs. Washington Commanders game in October, and have barely slowed down since. Beer wrote 'lovergirl', released on the Locket deluxe edition in May, which is almost entirely about him, complete with an 'MBJH4EV' Easter egg on the car's license plate in the music video. Herbert, for his part, called Beer "my favorite person of all time" in a birthday tribute in March, adding that she had "changed his life forever."
