MGK Fires at Yungblud Over Tour Ticket Prices, Feud Escalates
MGK Fires at Yungblud Over Tour Ticket Prices

The feud between the rock and rap worlds has begun to simmer as MGK fired shots at Yungblud after the latter criticized rising tour ticket prices on social media. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, slammed the pop-punk mogul's comments, calling him 'Pinocchio.' However, representatives for Yungblud, also known as Dominic Richard Harrison, dismissed the remarks, stating that the singer is too busy to engage in the spat.

Yungblud Speaks Out on Rising Ticket Prices

With concert ticket prices soaring, many artists have been forced to cancel shows due to unsold seats, including Zayn Malik, Post Malone, and Meghan Trainor. Commenting on this critical industry trend, Yungblud said, 'Live music has become inaccessible—that is a fact—and artists are canceling all the time based on lack of ticket sales because it is an issue. It's completely unaffordable for people.' He made these remarks while promoting his upcoming festival, Bludfest. 'I genuinely believe that with my community we can make an impact and make a difference and be an example of something that is affordable, real, and all about community,' he added.

MGK's Deleted Statement on Yungblud's Tour Prices

In a since-deleted comment, screenshots of which circulated online, MGK wrote, 'You cancelled a tour because you couldn't sell tickets, blamed it on mental health, then got paparazzi'd at Nobu the next day, Pinocchio.' He further argued that Yungblud's ticket prices are similar to those of other artists, according to Cosmopolitan. While fans erupted in the comment section, the 28-year-old MGK did not immediately respond. However, Yungblud's team issued a statement: 'Dom has not commented directly as he is so busy focusing on his sold-out North American tour and finishing his next album. He does not have time to engage in any of this and wishes MGK the best.'
