Musician Morgan Wallen was all set to perform in Pittsburgh at Acrisure Stadium. However, his plans for a fun night on Saturday were thwarted after extreme weather warnings were issued.
Morgan Wallen's Pittsburgh Concert Gets Canceled
Taking to social media, the singer announced that after a lot of consideration and deliberation from the team, they had to cancel the concert. His post read, "After talking with local officials and my team, there is no choice but to cancel tonight's show due to severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night. Safety for my fans and crew is the highest priority."
Earlier on Friday, the singer had performed at the venue successfully and was even joined by Kurt Angle. However, because of red alerts and possible storm warnings in the area, the concert had to be completely stopped.
How to Get a Refund for Morgan Wallen's Canceled Concert
One of the biggest concerns for fans has been how to obtain a refund. The country pop singer announced in the post itself that fans would be able to collect refunds for the canceled concert tickets from the very place they bought them.
Fans also shared messages online about ticket retailer websites detailing how to claim the refund and sharing emails with fans to ensure the process goes smoothly. It was also revealed in the refund message that all the money will be refunded to the source account used to buy it in the first place.
For the unversed, the country singer has been active in the industry since 2014 and started his career by featuring on the sixth season of the beloved TV show The Voice in 2014. He has been regularly making music since then and released his debut album If I Know Me in 2018. Last year, he released his fourth studio album titled I'm the Problem.
