Kozhikode: Writer M Mukundan on Saturday launched a book written by the mother of Arjun, the truck driver who lost his life in the Shirur landslide tragedy. Arjun’s mother, Sheela Kuruvachalil, authored the book titled Arjun, Ente Makan (Arjun, My Son). The launch event took place at the C Kunjikkutti Memorial Hall in Kannadikkal, Arjun’s native village.
Speaking at the event, Mukundan remarked that the book is not merely Arjun’s story but also a narrative of how people united with compassion and care for one individual. He expressed that Arjun’s family feels like his own and that Kannadikkal evokes in him the same sentiment as Mayyazhi. Mukundan further stated that the book could help cleanse the minds of those who spread negativity through social media.
