For Tanush Shantaram Nalawade, a student of Valia Junior College in Mumbai, this year's academic result holds a significance far beyond mere numbers. Scoring 62.67 percent, Tanush describes the achievement as deeply personal after enduring the loss of his father during the academic year.
Overcoming Emotional Turmoil
Initially, I was deeply confused and shaken by what I went through, but my family members, friends and tuition sir motivated me during that time, he said. My class mentor and teachers supported me immensely with my studies and gave me a way to rise again.
Despite the emotional setback, Tanush remained focused on his academics, drawing strength from the support system around him. He admitted that he did not anticipate such a result. I was not expecting this much, but I gave my best and I consider this result a tribute to my father, he added.
Lessons in Resilience
The student shared that the difficult experience taught him resilience and strengthened his determination to keep moving forward despite personal hardships. He credited his mentors for helping him stay focused during one of the most challenging phases of his life.
Tanush, who is also a student of Edyouth Learning Foundation, now plans to pursue a career in hotel management. His story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of a strong support network in overcoming adversity.
