North West recently performed at the official Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash 2026 music festival in Bridgeview, Illinois. With the support of her parents, she delivered a solo concert at the festival venue.
Proud mother Kim took to social media to share a glimpse of the proud moment when her daughter performed on stage. She posted a photo of a backstage pass featuring West's photograph, with the words "Stage 3 … North West" written on it.
Kim also shared short clips and video footage on her account using the story feature, showing her admiration for her daughter. In the videos, North West can be seen singing and rapping as the crowd cheers along to the beat. For the stage, West opted for an all-black outfit, accessorized with her signature spiky jewelry, black sneaker boots, and black sunglasses to complete the look.
Her father was also quick to show his support. He shared a glimpse of a 2024 performance for his album 'Vultures 1' that he and his daughter did together. In the video, the father-daughter duo is seen performing 'TALKING' from his album as the crowd cheers.
Who is North West?
North West is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's oldest child, who has been making music for the past two years. She made her debut with the single 'Talking/Once Again' and later released her first EP titled 'N0rth4evr' in May.
North is the eldest of four siblings: Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In 2012, when Kanye was performing during one of his New Jersey concerts, he announced the news candidly by giving his then-wife a shoutout on stage, yelling, "Can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?"

Regarding her name, Kardashian explained to Vanity Fair that it started from a rumor they had come across online after the release of her Baggit bag. She stated that Pharrell Williams made a comment that inspired them to name their daughter North West. Kim further explained, "We'd never really considered it seriously, at all. But Kanye and I were having lunch and Pharrell came over to us and said, 'Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter, 'North'? That is the best name.'"
North made her music festival debut at Rolling Loud, where she took the stage to a loud and cheering crowd. She was born on June 15, 2013, meaning she is just a day away from turning 13 years old.
