Buchi Babu Sana is preparing for his second directorial venture with the Ram Charan starrer 'Peddi'. The film is scheduled for release on June 4. In a recent interview, the director shared details about the climax, teasing that it will leave audiences with a heavy heart.
Director Reveals Emotional Finale
Speaking with Gulte, Buchi Babu Sana revealed that the last 50 minutes of the film will be very emotional, shocking, and deeply disturbing. He shared that audiences may walk out of theatres with a heavy heart after watching the ending. However, he believes viewers will feel they have watched a memorable film that stays with them for a long time.
Buchi Babu Sana Prioritizes Real Emotions
The director also shared that he always values emotions that linger with audiences even after the movie ends. According to him, commercial cinema becomes stronger when pain, realism, and emotional depth are naturally integrated into the story.
'Peddi' Aims to Evoke Strong Feelings
He explained that emotions are crucial for him while writing characters. The 'Uppena' director feels audiences connect more when emotions appear honest and real on screen, rather than forced for cinematic effect. Interestingly, Buchi Babu Sana hinted that 'Peddi' may emotionally disturb audiences in a positive way, offering something beyond a routine commercial high. He is confident about the final act and believes the emotional payoff will be the film's greatest strength.

'Peddi' has been in production for a considerable time. Initially set for a March 27 release, it was later rescheduled to April 30, and has now been pushed to June 4. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani.
