In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh, a DJ vehicle lost control during a wedding procession and ran over revellers, resulting in one death and multiple injuries. The accident occurred late Tuesday night in the Kaushambi district when the DJ vehicle, part of the wedding celebrations, suddenly went out of control and ploughed into the crowd.

The wedding procession was underway in the Sirathu area of Kaushambi when the DJ vehicle, a modified truck fitted with sound equipment, lost its balance and overturned, crushing several people. The driver reportedly lost control while navigating a sharp turn, causing the vehicle to topple onto the side where the revellers were dancing.
Casualties and Injuries
One person was declared dead on the spot, while several others sustained serious injuries. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have identified the deceased as a 30-year-old man from the same village. The condition of some injured individuals is stated to be critical.
Police Response
Local police reached the spot soon after the incident and initiated an investigation. The driver of the DJ vehicle has been taken into custody for questioning. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Police officials stated that the vehicle was overloaded and the driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
