Priyanka and Nick welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy in 2022. In a recent candid appearance on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', the actress opened up about her parenting approach regarding Indian culture. When asked by Archana Puran Singh if Malti might miss out on experiences of growing up in India, Priyanka provided a reassuring answer.

She revealed that Malti frequently travels to India, having already visited cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and even Ayodhya. "I’ve always tried my best to make sure that she is familiarised with Indian culture and traditions, as much as possible," Priyanka stated. One of the most endearing revelations was about Malti's love for traditional Indian attire. With evident pride, Priyanka shared, "Whenever she puts on her ghagra-choli, she calls herself an ‘Indian princess’. She loves her ghagras and bindis and bangles, which I always take for her."

Priyanka's mission to keep Indian culture alive in her household isn't limited to her daughter. She has also successfully introduced her husband, Nick Jonas, to the vibrant aspects of Indian life.
