A source close to Janhvi Kapoor revealed that Ram Charan proved to be a thorough gentleman on set. As soon as he started shooting with Janhvi, there were warning signals about how the film intended to project its heroine.
Janhvi's Discomfort and Ram's Intervention
When Janhvi expressed her discomfort at the camera angles capturing her curves, Ram stepped in and warned the director not to do that. However, the director paid no heed. Apparently, all the cheesy sequences objectifying and sexualizing her were shot without her knowledge of what was being filmed.

Janhvi has still not seen the full film. For that matter, neither has Ram Charan. The film was ready only hours before release. According to the source, Janhvi's father Boney Kapoor is angry with director Buchi Babu's apology. The so-called apology makes no mention of Janhvi and offers her no apology for presenting her in such an unaesthetic light in the film. Throughout the shooting, Janhvi was left in the dark as to how she would eventually look on screen. To add to the confusion, there was the language barrier. The director spoke in Telugu, and Janhvi's Telugu is strictly functional.
