Ramesh Aravind's Michael Jackson Thriller Jacket Inspiration

The biopic Michael, centered on the legendary Michael Jackson, is generating significant excitement in cinemas, leaving audiences captivated and eager for more. The film revisits some of the most iconic songs and electrifying performances of the King of Pop.

However, a surprising twist emerges from Sandalwood's own Ramesh Aravind, who shares a fascinating connection with Jackson. In a candid revelation, Ramesh discloses that for a song titled Kshamisi Naa Helodella from his early film Sundara Swapnagalu, he wore a red jacket inspired by Michael's outfit in the superhit track Thriller.

"We were a generation that grew up on Michael's music, and Thriller had just been released around the same time, becoming a massive rage. We would listen to it constantly. His red jacket was a style statement, and we decided to incorporate that look into the Kshamisi song. It was also a song where I performed full-fledged dance moves, which was a lot of fun," shares Ramesh.
