Ranveer Singh's question to Sadhguru goes viral
During the interaction, Ranveer revealed that he had asked fans on social media what question he should pose to Sadhguru. According to the actor, a majority of responses revolved around one thought-provoking topic. 'Yesterday I put a tweet out saying I'm meeting Sadhguruji tomorrow. What should I ask him? And 80% was, what is the purpose of life? What is the purpose of life?' Ranveer said in the video. Responding to the actor's question, Sadhguru shared his philosophical perspective on life and existence.
Offering his interpretation, Sadhguru explained, 'When you ask what is the purpose of life, essentially you are asking what is the use of life. There is no use, even if you are not born, everything would be fine. Believe me, actually it would be better.' He further added, 'There is no purpose. Life is a phenomenon beyond this nonsensical logical calculations about what is the purpose of this, what is the purpose of that, what is the use of this? There is no use. It is just that life is a bigger phenomenon than your intellect.' The clip has since been widely circulated across social media platforms.
FWICE issues non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh
The actor's meeting with Sadhguru comes shortly after controversy erupted around his reported departure from 'Don 3'. Earlier, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh, stating that the actor had allegedly not responded to repeated requests to appear before the federation and present his side regarding the matter. Meanwhile, Excel Entertainment, the banner backing 'Don 3', has reportedly sought compensation worth Rs 45 crore from the actor over pre-production expenses linked to the film before his exit.
Ranveer Singh's team breaks silence
Following the developments, Ranveer Singh's spokesperson released an official statement addressing the controversy. The statement maintained that the actor preferred to handle professional matters privately instead of engaging in public speculation. 'Throughout the recent developments surrounding 'Don 3', he has consciously chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity and mutual respect,' a part of the statement read.
