Actress Reem Sameer Shaikh Reveals Why She Will Never Do Bigg Boss
Reem Sameer Shaikh Opens Up About Skipping Bigg Boss

Actress Reem Sameer Shaikh, known for her impressive performances in television shows, recently opened up about her personal and professional life during a podcast with Shardul Pandit. The actress revealed why she would never participate in the reality show Bigg Boss.

Why Reem Said No to Bigg Boss

Reem shared her main reason for declining the show: 'I did Fanaa, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, then I did Laughter Chefs. I have been on the same channel for many years now. But Bigg Boss, I don't think I can do that show. Because, one, I cannot stay without talking to my mother or having her around. I am very close to her.'

She elaborated by giving an example: 'Even when I go on vacation, I feel guilty before leaving that I am leaving her and will not be around. After going, I enjoy for two to three days, but by the fourth day, it starts hitting me again that I want to go back or that she must be missing me. Then I somehow manage for four to five days and come back. So I cannot stay without my mom. That is my biggest, biggest reason for constantly saying no to Bigg Boss.'

The Negative Side of the Show

Reem further explained her stance: 'I think it just brings out the worst in you. There are very few people who maintain their personality and aura and come back from that house. Ninety percent of the time, people lose it. They show a side of themselves that maybe should not be shown on television, according to me, or even in life in general, which is something I would not want to show.'

She concluded, 'It is my life, and I want to keep it that way. I am not that person who wants to show everything unfiltered. This is my profession; it is not my whole life. So I will only show as much of it as I want to. I do not remember who said it, but someone once told me that once you become an actor, it is not your life anymore. But I do not agree with that. I really do not. I think your life is still yours.'
