Rithvik Dhanjani Seeks Dark, Psychologically Damaging Roles After Khatron Ke Khiladi
Rithvik Dhanjani Craves Dark Roles Post Khatron Ke Khiladi

Rithvik Dhanjani, who is currently facing his fears on the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, has expressed a strong desire to explore a different kind of challenge in his acting career. He is now craving roles that push him into psychologically dark territory as an actor.

Craving Dark and Disturbing Characters

“I’m hoping for something psychologically damaging, a character who’s really crazy. Something dark, disturbing, or completely unlike me in real life. There’s a lot inside me that probably needs an outlet,” says Rithvik. For him, acting provides a safe space to unleash emotions he otherwise keeps under control.

Acting as a Safe Outlet

He explains, “I’ve learned to control my own demons through a lot of practice. But as an actor, the beauty is that you can let them out and feel no remorse because you’re doing it for the camera.” This perspective allows him to explore intense psychological depths without personal consequences.

Patience in the Industry

Having spent over a decade in the entertainment industry, Rithvik admits there have been moments when waiting for the right project tested his patience. However, he has learned not to obsess over what comes next. “Earlier, it was always, ‘What next? What next?’ That keeps you on edge and stops you from enjoying what you’ve built. I’ve found peace with it now. I know there’s a beautiful plan,” he says.

Faking Energy On Screen

Known for his infectious energy on screen and at public events, Rithvik also reveals that the enthusiasm isn’t always genuine. “There have been times when I’m not happy from within, but I still have to be fun and energetic because that’s part of my job. Sometimes the mantra is simply: fake it till you make it,” he shares. This honesty highlights the challenges performers face in maintaining a cheerful facade.
