Television actor Rithvik Dhanjani is all set to participate in the upcoming season of the popular stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty. The actor recently gave an exclusive interview to Times of India TV, where he opened up about his preparation for the show, his fears, and much more. Having participated in the show twice before, this will mark his third stint on the adrenaline-pumping series.
Preparation for the Show
While talking about his preparation for the show, Rithvik said, “The preparation has been relatively the same as what I did the last two times. My physical strength and training are ongoing. Yeah, I’m trying to just be as fit as possible for the show.” He emphasized the importance of staying in top shape to tackle the challenging stunts that await him.
Fears and Mental Strength
When asked about what scares him on the show, Rithvik admitted, “I think the height-related and free-fall-related stunts are the ones that could still scare me and make me quiver a bit.” He further elaborated on the nature of the competition, stating, “Anyone on the show could potentially be very strong because this game is not about how physically agile or strong you are; it’s mostly about dealing with your fears in your mind. So I think the person who is the most mentally strong will be the most lethal competitor.”
Love for the Format
Discussing his decision to return, Rithvik expressed his enduring affection for the show. “I have always and forever loved this format and, as I said in all my previous interviews, I never get tired of it. I always go back because that’s one show where I’ve had the most amazing moments and the most exciting time. So I would love to do it all over again. That’s exactly why I love the show.” His enthusiasm reflects the unique appeal that Khatron Ke Khiladi holds for participants.
Previous Stints and Career Highlights
On the professional front, Rithvik has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry with notable performances in shows like Pavitra Rishta, Nach Baliye, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. He first appeared on Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 in 2017, where he finished in seventh place. In 2020, he also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India, where he was evicted after securing ninth place. Despite these outcomes, his determination remains unshaken as he gears up for his third attempt.
