Actress Ruhaanika Dhawan, who rose to fame as Ruhi in the popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, recently opened up about her deep bond with co-star Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who portrayed her on-screen mother, Ishima. In an exclusive interview with IANS, Ruhaanika expressed her admiration for Divyanka, stating, 'She is made of steel. She is an iron woman, and there is nothing she can’t do.'
Guidance Like a Mother
Ruhaanika, who is set to participate in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, shared how Divyanka guided her like a mother during a crucial phase of her life. 'She has sat down and explained every pointer to how I need to stay in a very calm state of mind and not panic, and instead relax and take it on,' Ruhaanika revealed. The young actress credited Divyanka for helping her remain confident and composed.
Ruhaanika's Journey in Television
Ruhaanika was only around six years old when she began playing the role of Ruhi Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Despite her young age, she quickly became one of the most beloved child actors on Indian television. The show, which aired in 2013, was a family drama centered on relationships, love, and emotional bonds. Divyanka played Dr. Ishita Iyer Bhalla, known as Ishima, who became a mother figure in Ruhi's life. Their on-screen chemistry as Ishima and Ruhi was adored by audiences and contributed significantly to the show's success.
The cast also included Karan Patel, Anita Hassanandani, Aly Goni, Neena Kulkarni, and others. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor. Ruhaanika, who recently completed her 10th board exams, revealed that she is the youngest participant in the history of Khatron Ke Khiladi, marking a new milestone in her career.
