Kerala Devaswoms Minister Muraleedharan has issued a stern warning that no one involved in the theft of gold from the Sabarimala temple will be spared. Speaking to the press on Sunday, he emphasized that the state government is committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
Waiting for SIT Report
Muraleedharan stated that he is awaiting the detailed report from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) that has been probing the case. Once the report is received, further action will be taken based on its findings. The minister assured that the investigation is progressing thoroughly and that all those responsible, regardless of their position, will face the full force of the law.
Government's Stance on Temple Security
The minister also highlighted the government's commitment to enhancing security measures at temples across the state. He noted that the Sabarimala incident has prompted a review of existing protocols to prevent such occurrences in the future. The government is considering the installation of advanced surveillance systems and stricter access controls at major temples.
The theft, which came to light earlier this month, involved the loss of a significant quantity of gold ornaments and other valuables from the Sabarimala temple. The incident has sparked outrage among devotees and the public, leading to demands for a swift and transparent investigation.
