Sara Tendulkar, daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has strongly condemned a paparazzi social media page for posting a reel that allegedly contained offensive and body-shaming remarks about her and her sister-in-law. Taking to her Instagram Stories on May 21, she accused the account of crossing all limits in the name of journalism.
Sara Tendulkar Calls Out Paparazzi Culture
Sharing a screenshot of the now-deleted reel, Sara wrote, "You are disgusting. This is not journalism. Leave. Us. Alone." She also tagged the paparazzi account in the story. In another sharp reaction, she added, "You can delete your post, but that doesn't make you any less disgusting," accompanied by nauseated emojis.
Sara, who enjoys a massive social media following, often shares glimpses from her personal life. Most recently, she posted pictures and videos from the wedding celebrations of her brother Arjun Tendulkar and entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok.
Arjun and Saaniya's Grand Wedding
Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Mumbai on March 5, attended by several notable names from cricket and entertainment. The paparazzi page reportedly deleted the controversial post following backlash, but Sara's response resonated with many online users who criticized the growing culture of intrusive celebrity coverage and insensitive remarks targeting public figures and their families.
The incident has sparked a broader conversation about the ethics of paparazzi journalism and the need for respect towards individuals' privacy, especially in the age of social media where content can spread rapidly and cause harm.
