While no suspects have been identified as of now, County Sheriff Chris Nanos provided an update on May 12, stating that the department, the FBI, and other labs are working diligently to resolve the matter. 'I think every day they get closer. There is way too much work to be done, that is ongoing, with some of the physical evidence we have,' he said, referring to the mixed DNA found near the house that is still under investigation, as per the aforementioned outlet.
