Now, Sreeleela's mother, Dr. Swarnalatha, has issued a strong response, categorically dismissing all such reports. She stated that every story linking Sreeleela and Tilak Varma is entirely false. According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Dr. Swarnalatha said, "These rumours are absolutely false and have no truth in them. We do not know how such stories emerge." She further added, "There is not even an iota of truth in reports claiming that Sreeleela and Tilak Varma have been seeing each other for the past year. It is purely a figment of imagination." Dr. Swarnalatha expressed that social media users are fabricating narratives from unrelated situations, and she deemed it unfair to spread such baseless rumours.
Temple Visit and Cricket Match Sparked Speculation
The rumours gained traction following a few coincidental incidents. During the Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations in December 2025, Sreeleela visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple with her mother. Around the same time, Tilak Varma was reportedly present at the temple with his family. Later, during a T20 World Cup match at Wankhede Stadium, Sreeleela attended the game, and observers noted that someone from her team was allegedly wearing a jersey linked to Tilak Varma. Dr. Swarnalatha clarified that both incidents were mere coincidences and carried no significance.
Actress Currently Focused on Studies and Films
Sreeleela's mother revealed that the actress is currently dedicating her time to her studies and film career. She is preparing for the NEET-PG examination scheduled for June.
