Streamer Brawadis Loses Beloved Dog Booker to Lymphoma Cancer

Popular streamer Brandon 'Brawadis' Awadis has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of his beloved dog, Booker, who died on April 30, 2026, after a battle with lymphoma cancer. In an emotional YouTube video, Awadis documented their final moments together, revealing the pain and difficulty of the decision to let his pet go.

Booker's Cancer Battle

Booker had been fighting lymphoma cancer, which progressed rapidly in his final days. On April 19, Awadis posted a video explaining that the cancer was incurable. He stated, 'There's a lot of cancers that dogs get that are treatable... Unfortunately, lymphoma cancer, the type of cancer that my baby was diagnosed with, there's no cure. Once you have it, you have it.'

Decline and Difficult Decisions

By April 27, Awadis shared an update on X, revealing that Booker's cancer had become resistant to treatment. He wrote, 'Got heartbreaking news from the doctor today. Booker's lymphoma cancer has now unfortunately progressed to resistant lymphoma cancer, meaning his cancer has stopped responding to all medicines and chemotherapy treatments.' He added that Booker had stopped eating, was lethargic, and had trouble breathing.

Awadis explained that he did not want to be selfish and prioritized Booker's comfort. He said, 'I've always said that I can't be selfish when it comes to Booker... if he is suffering, I need to do what's best for him.'

Final Moments

On April 30, Awadis uploaded a video titled 'rest in peace, Booker,' in which he described the euthanasia process. The vet ensured Booker felt no pain, with a first injection making him sleepy and a second one ending his life. Family members surrounded Booker, offering love and comfort. Awadis recalled, 'There was a lot of I love you Bookers... everybody just made Booker feel really loved and comfortable in his final moments.'

Before the last injection, Awadis stayed alone with Booker. He said, 'It was a really emotional moment for me knowing that this was the last time I was going to hold my baby in my arms.' He broke down, admitting, 'I wasn't ready to do this today. I'm so sorry. I don't think anybody ever was ready.'
