Tyson Fury's daughter Venezuela Fury celebrated her wedding on Friday, May 16, but reports from the reception quickly pulled attention away from the happy occasion. According to the Daily Mail, a man was arrested outside the Comis Hotel near Douglas on the Isle of Man while guests were still attending the celebration. Police officers were seen detaining and searching the man beside a police van. Pictures published by the outlet also appeared to show an evidence bag containing cash and a mobile phone.
The wedding itself brought together several well-known faces. Sixteen-year-old Venezuela Fury married 19-year-old Noah Price with heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury attending as father of the bride. Singer Peter Andre performed during the event, including his hit song "Mysterious Girl," while television personality Molly-Mae Hague was also present at the celebration.
The Isle of Man Constabulary later confirmed officers attended the hotel that evening. In a statement given to the Daily Mail, police said: "The Isle of Man Constabulary can confirm that Officers were called to attend The Comis Hotel, Santon on the evening of Saturday 16th May 2026. A man was arrested and enquiries remain ongoing. We are unable to comment further at this time regarding the identity of the individual involved or the circumstances surrounding the arrest." The identity of the arrested man has not been released, and police have not shared further details about what led to the incident.
Tyson Fury and John Fury Reportedly Disagreed Over Venezuela Fury Marrying Noah Price at 16
Even before the wedding day, the Fury family had reportedly been dealing with tension over Venezuela Fury getting married so young. The disagreement became public through comments made on the Netflix series At Home with the Furys, where Tyson Fury's father John Fury openly shared his concerns. John Fury strongly disagreed with the idea of teenage relationships and marriage. He said: "They're children! I don't think she's mature enough for anything like that — she's still a baby. On my watch a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, never."
Venezuela Fury's mother Paris Fury looked at the situation differently. She defended her daughter during the series and explained why she understood her decision. Paris said: "I can't deny her because I was 17 when I got engaged. She's obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way?" Despite the reported family disagreement, the wedding still went ahead with close family and celebrity guests attending. However, news of the arrest outside the venue quickly became one of the biggest talking points connected to the event.
