Uorfi Javed: Stress and Allergies, Not Fillers, Caused Swelling

Social media sensation and actress Uorfi Javed, known for speaking openly about her cosmetic procedures, has addressed rumors about her swollen face. After dissolving her fillers last year, she recently shared photos from a year and a half ago showing a puffy face, which she now explains was caused by stress and allergies, not fillers.

Uorfi Javed on the Real Cause of Her Swollen Face

In a recent Instagram video, Uorfi revealed that her swollen appearance was due to high cortisol levels from stress, as well as an allergy to cats. She has three pet cats at home. She stated, "So this was my face 1.5 years ago when everyone said it was ‘fillers gone wrong’. And this is how I look right now. What you were seeing earlier was because of high cortisol and stress. To those who were saying I got fillers or did something, I didn’t get anything done. My face had just swollen up."

She added, "I am also allergic to cats, and I have three cats at home. Slowly I realised that all these were the issues. Earlier, whenever I went to doctors, they would say it’s a sinus problem, but no one was able to clearly identify what was wrong. By the time I finally found out, I already had three cats at home."

Uorfi's Health Journey and Lifestyle Changes

Uorfi shared that she is now focusing on her health with lifestyle changes, including weight training, regular workouts, and immunotherapy. She explained, "Now I have started lifting weights, working out, and I am undergoing immunotherapy. I am also eating properly. Earlier I didn’t eat much because I wanted to stay very thin. Now I am focusing on wellness, and my face is better. So it was not any filler gone wrong."

On the work front, Uorfi was recently seen in Splitsvilla X6 as a Mischiefmaker.
