Vedang Raina on Coping with Heartbreaks

He continued, "I've definitely gone through many heartbreaks." When asked how he coped, he replied, "Well, I guess time genuinely heals everything. I know this is a cliché thing to say, but with time you figure your things out." Further explaining his point, Vedang mentioned, "You figure out how to adapt to certain changes in your life that are heartbreaking. I guess you learn to love yourself more. Director Imtiaz Ali on Vedang Raina's Uniqueness as an Actor

In our conversation, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali also opened up about what he finds most unique and noteworthy about Vedang. He said, "As an actor, he wants all his answers. He prepares for the shot or the scene days in advance. When we were reading with him, he would try to get every note right." The 'Tamasha' director feels it is the musician inside Vedang that adds more to his actor personality. He said, "Because he is also a musician, he wants to get everything perfectly placed in his mind. And clarify everything, then start doing the take. Your comfort is that you want to know every small bit." However, in this film, he did let go, which, according to the director, is a sign of courage. "I think that was noteworthy for me. And it's a very technical acting thing, not like a prank or a quirk."
