A 36-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday for allegedly stealing 3.5 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs 50,000 in cash from her neighbour’s house in Nallampalli Tata Nagar, Dharmapuri. The incident occurred on Saturday when the family was away on a trip to Hogenakkal.
Details of the Theft
The victim, Sakthivel, 45, a private bus driver, had left his home locked when he and his family went on a trip.
