Rocking Star Yash, who is currently occupied with his upcoming big-budget projects, recently took time off to connect with a fan in a heartfelt manner. The Kannada superstar engaged with a supporter who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.
Yash Video Chats with Fan
A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a fan shows the actor speaking with Sunil, the Shivamogga district president of his fan association, via video call. According to an India Today report, Sunil is battling rectal cancer and is receiving treatment. Yash's call came as a pleasant surprise to Sunil and his family.
During the conversation, Yash inquired about Sunil's health and well-being. He spoke warmly and wished him well in his fight against the illness. The 'KGF' star also interacted with Sunil's family members, taking time to understand his condition.
Interestingly, the report mentions that Yash recalled Sunil's long association with his fan clubs and remembered his active participation in fan activities over the years. He also assured him of support during his treatment.
Work Front
On the professional front, Yash has two large-scale projects in his pipeline. One is his much-anticipated gangster action drama 'Toxic', directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has faced multiple delays, with fans eagerly awaiting a Yash outing since his last appearance in 'KGF 2', which hit theaters in 2022.
Yash's Upcoming Movie 'Toxic'
The film was initially announced for a March 19 release but was postponed, with makers citing tensions in the Middle East as the reason. Later, they announced a June 4 release, but it was pushed ahead again. As of now, the makers have yet to share a revised date.
Yash in 'Ramayana'
On the other hand, Yash will be seen in the mythological epic 'Ramayana', directed by Nitesh Tiwari, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. In the film, Yash will play the character of Ravana. The first part is announced for a Diwali 2025 release.
