Zarine Khan Passes Away, Family & Bollywood Mourn

The Bollywood community is in mourning following the sad demise of Zarine Khan, the wife of veteran actor and producer Sanjay Khan. She passed away on November 7, leaving behind a legacy of love and a deeply grieving family.

An Emotional Farewell

To honor her memory, the Khan family organized a prayer gathering on November 10 in Mumbai. The event saw an outpouring of support from close friends and colleagues from the Indian film industry. A particularly moving video from the gathering captured raw emotions, showing Sussanne Khan, Zayed Khan, and Sanjay Khan breaking down as they paid their respects to their beloved wife and mother.

Hrithik Roshan's Heartfelt Tribute

Among the many celebrities who attended to offer their condolences was superstar Hrithik Roshan. He was present at the prayer meet alongside his girlfriend, Saba Azad. A poignant moment was captured on video where an emotional Hrithik paid his respects, saying, "It has been my privilege to love and to be loved by you." His presence highlighted a bond that has remained strong even after his divorce from Sussanne Khan.

In a past interview with IANS, Zarine Khan herself had affirmed this unbreakable connection, stating, "He's still like a son to me. The divorce hasn't affected our relationship. Hrithik is the father of my grandchildren, and that bond will always remain."

Bollywood Pays Its Last Respects

The prayer meeting was a testament to Zarine Khan's standing within the film fraternity. It was attended by a host of notable personalities including veteran actors Jeetendra, Rani Mukerji, and Jackie Shroff. Salman Khan's father, the eminent writer Salim Khan, was also seen attending the somber event with his daughter, Arpita Sharma.

Zarine Khan is survived by her husband, Sanjay Khan, and their four children: Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan. Her passing has created a significant void in the family and marks the end of an era for one of Bollywood's most respected families.
