"You attempting it itself is a great thing," she told the young contestant warmly. "Considering you can sing it at such a young age is wonderful. I had first heard this song when I was about seven or eight years old, when a record had come out of Reshma ji, I think. My cousin made me listen to it, and I started singing it then. I actually did this song in one take."
