Sudhanshu Pandey Recalls Instagram Account Hack After Clicking Suspicious Link
In an exclusive interview with IANS, actor Sudhanshu Pandey, best known for his role in 'Anupamaa', opened up about a past cybersecurity scare that left him more vigilant online. He recounted how his Instagram account was hacked several years ago after he clicked on a random link, an incident that has since shaped his digital habits.
Lessons Learned from the Hacking Incident
When asked if he had ever encountered scams in real life, Sudhanshu revealed that while he has never faced financial or digital fraud directly, the Instagram hack was a significant wake-up call. He described the moment vividly, stating, "It happened because I clicked on a suspicious link. Within seconds, the account was hacked." This swift breach prompted him to make a firm commitment to himself: he would never click on any link unless he is absolutely certain of its origin and legitimacy. The actor emphasized that this experience taught him the importance of caution in the digital age, where cyber threats are increasingly common.
Upcoming Project: 'Do Duniya Ek Dil'
On the professional front, Sudhanshu is set to appear in the new show "Do Duniya Ek Dil", alongside co-stars Vikram Singh Chauhan and Rachi Sharma. He shared his enthusiasm for the project, explaining that the role appealed to him because it offers a complex and layered character. "In every show, there are characters with positive shades and others with negative shades. The character I am playing here has a negative shade, but it is layered and complex," he said. Sudhanshu, who has also starred in 'Siyaasat', highlighted that this role will showcase him in a completely new light, with many surprising aspects that will unfold gradually.
Actor's Approach to Memorable Roles
Sudhanshu elaborated on his acting philosophy, noting that he always seeks roles that provide scope for exploration and freshness. "I enjoy presenting something fresh to the audience and giving them unexpected moments through my performance," he explained. He added that while his character in 'Do Duniya Ek Dil' may appear negative, it is not straightforward; instead, it has multiple dimensions that will captivate viewers. The actor concluded by stressing his goal to create memorable characters, saying, "My effort is always to make my characters memorable so that the audience connects with them and carries them in their hearts. If people remember the character for a long time, that is the biggest achievement for an actor."
