Actor Yash, who portrays the legendary antagonist Ravana in the upcoming epic film 'Ramayana', has been generating significant buzz with his recent interviews. In a candid conversation with foreign media, Yash offered fresh insights into the film's most ambitious action sequences, particularly the battle between Ravana and the mythical bird Jatayu.
Yash Discusses the Jatayu Battle
When asked about the most 'crazy' stunt in the film, Yash highlighted the confrontation with Jatayu. He described it as a high-octane sequence that blends mythology with modern visual effects. "There are many action scenes, but if you have to draw a comparison, there is one which is the fight with the bird called Jatayu. It is the king of birds. It is a massive bird. There is an action sequence between Ravana and Jatayu. That is going to be crazy. But of course, it is created with the help of visual effects," Yash stated.
Visual Spectacle and Commercial Appeal
Yash further elaborated on the grandeur of the scene, emphasizing its magical and commercial nature. "He's Ravana, he's the best warrior, he's got so many powers. You have to see it to believe it. The way the scene unfolds it's magic and full-on commercial action sequence, with the bird in the sky, with the Pushpak vimana, the lotus-shaped flying object, it is going to be spectacular," he added. The sequence draws directly from the ancient epic, and a glimpse of the bird was already featured in the opening scene of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rama' first look.
