During an appearance on the 'TODAY Show,' the duo talked about working together on 'Office Romance.' Host Savannah Guthrie brought up the relationship rumors, and Lopez quickly laughed them off, calling them normal. She said, 'There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try to put me with the person.' Goldstein joked, 'I think if you stand near her, that's what happens. That's why I've been standing so close this whole time.'
Lopez then clarified that she has worked with many people this year, including Kevin Costner, and similar rumors have erupted every time. 'It happens all the time. Doesn't make it true,' she concluded.

The duo also shared what it was like working together on set. Goldstein revealed that the film was made with Lopez in mind. He said, 'We wanted to make an old-school rom-com. Like, who's the best rom-com person to do it with, and we both, without hesitation, went, JLo, obviously. And we wrote it for her and sent it to her with a note that says, We wrote it for you. There's only one name on the list; if you don't do it, we're not making it.'
Lopez said she could not believe it and had to confirm repeatedly that it was written for her. 'I was crazy; I was like, he wrote this for me? And they were like, yeah, they wrote it for you,' she quipped.
