Prime Video Announces November 15 Premiere for 'The Chosen' Season 6
In a major announcement for fans of the acclaimed series, Prime Video and 5&2 Studios have officially revealed that Season 6 of 'The Chosen' will debut on November 15, 2024. The streaming platform and production studio shared the release date alongside a new teaser image, generating excitement among viewers worldwide.
Release Schedule and Theatrical Plans
The premiere will kick off with a three-episode launch on November 15, followed by weekly episode releases continuing through December 6. In a unique move, the season 6 finale and the season 7 premiere are set for a theatrical release, with the finale scheduled to hit theaters in spring 2027, as reported by Deadline.
Dallas Jenkins, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of 5&2 Studios and Creator/Executive Producer of The Chosen, explained the reasoning behind this dual approach. "Everyone knows the basics of this part of the story, but not everyone knows the 'why' of the crucifixion and the extraordinary events of these 24 hours," Jenkins said. "We realized this not only deserved a season of television but a standalone full-length theatrical event as well. We wrote and filmed all of it with this in mind."

Season 6 will be available on Prime Video not only in the U.S. but also in multiple international regions, including:
- Canada
