Trade analyst Sacnilk reports that 'Kara' collected Rs 1.15 crore from 1,709 shows on Friday. This brings the total India gross collection to Rs 36.21 crore and the total India net collection to Rs 31.41 crore so far. The film had a strong opening, earning over Rs 6.20 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 6.95 crore on the second day. However, the numbers gradually declined: the first Saturday saw Rs 5.20 crore, while the first Sunday brought in Rs 5 crore.
The downward trend continued into the weekdays, with Monday collecting Rs 1.80 crore. A slight increase on Tuesday saw Rs 2 crore, but Wednesday and Thursday brought in Rs 1.58 crore and Rs 1.53 crore respectively. The first week's total amounted to Rs 30.26 crore.
