The trailer, released on the show's official social media handles, introduces Cage as Ben Reilly, an ageing and "down-on-his-luck private investigator" who was once New York City's only superhero. The eight-episode series is set in 1930s New York and leans heavily into a hardboiled detective aesthetic. Based on the Marvel comic 'Spider-Man Noir', the show establishes a grounded and brooding tone throughout.

The trailer was released in two formats: "Authentic Black and White" and "True-Hue Full Colour", underscoring the series' commitment to its noir identity. The trailer focuses heavily on Ben Reilly's character arc, showing he "hasn't been the same since the death of someone named Ruby."
